I made a bench setup with zgw 1 high 2010 and kl15 emulator.I want to hook up 6wb and eventually cas unit. I got connection to the zgw with esys and inpa, no problem. Yesterday i hooked up the cas (kcan2) and could see cas unit in SVK. also could talk to it in tool32. Problem was, cas always switches off kl15 as soon as i connect it. I can solve that by reconnecting kl15 emulator. After that i tried to hook up 6wb. Connected to ptcan pin 1 & 2 (solely for kombi). But i can't get connection to it no matter what i do. as soon as i connect kl15 emulator the 6wb powers up, but can't get connection to it, not with esys, inpa nor tool32. I tried to flash zgw, went fine but now i even cannot connect to cas anymore. Connection to zgw still is fine.
Main thing i want to do is preprogram cas before 6wb installation. Got 2 defective 6wb units here and for repairing them and testing i want to do it on the bench with pre programmed cas instead of my car.
Do you have any idea what i could do?

Hello everyone,

I have an acces to the BMW ISTA online diagnostic since 2 week now.

Before i use a standalone version with a K+DCAN cable.

Now i would like to use this cable with the official version but in VCI i have only BMW Passthru or ICOM.

I have try to use the ISTAP luncher for emulate the K+DCAN but the ediabas config file do not load correctly.

Do you have already try to use this config or its necessary to buy an ICOM cable ?

Hello guys,

I have here small problem, Audi A8 2003 4.0TDi with master & slave ECU.

My Kess v.2 5.017 do not have in support list this engine. If I choose 4.2TDi for read I got error message for incorrect protocol. My MPPS v.16 cant too read it via OBD2, it show error "Out of request". Battery is OK in car, the charger was connected too. Have guys any idea why?

Another think, must I read both of ECU M + S, or only M?

Hi,

ISTA-P Support for newer models (like F, G and I Series) was discontiniued (last version with full support was 3.63.4).

But I heard / and read that newer ISTA-P versions can be still used with IBAC-Code for the affected models.

What does that means excatly? There are a lot of tools for generating IBAC-Codes (like ISTA-P Launcher from Beemerboy88) but this codes are only for retrofiting as far as I see.

How can I flash the entire car with ISTA-P and IBAC Code / which IBAC Code have to use?

I think this is important for users with retrofitted ECUS which should not be flashed in ISTA-P in expert mode.

Has any one ever stripped an electric trailer hitch to see why it stopped working only to find the small plastic gear on the inside of the little "gearbox" stripped
