Hi,

i want to flash a evo unit from id4 to id5.
I have a fsc set for different vin.
Can i write the different vin in the evo id4 without worrying that the unit will be locked cause of the ´trusted vin´ protection ?
If i write in a different vin the stored fscs will be rejected and i worry that the unit will be locked cause of the ´trusted vin´
Or i have to virginize the unit with tools32 first and then write in different vin.
Can anybody point me in the right direction.
Any help appreciated ?

Hi all i need to read / write epprom on a bosch me 7.6.2 ecu the ecu is sealed unit, so need a pin out to use with car prog or upa usb, the epprom is st95080.

I would like to ask you about any indormation how to change damaged NGT4.5 unit on used one ?

I was reading on forums about 25 PIN code needed (car and donor vin/serial number) and DVD with firmware. And probably Vediamo will be needed additionally.

Could you please advice ? Where I could read anything about this problem ?

Error C1336. I used the reset procedure with a paperclip and with a shop computer. it comes back after 2 seconds of driving each time. Anyone how to fix this issues because i read several threads on google and mostly replied Toyota dealers can fix this problem within 30 seconds so i want to know how to fix this issue.

I'm facing a connection problem with my MDI device.

I recently bought a VCMII clone and installed it. Since that time my MDI manager doesn't recognize the MDI.

What i did:

deinstalled the VCM-manager ford and mazda applications.
deinstalled the MDI manager and made a new fresh install of MDI manager (8.3.103.26)

But it's still not working. When i connect my MDI by usb it keeps comming up with the message: USB connection in progress do not disconnect the VCI until a message indicates that the configuration has completed.

After a while it's says: USB configuration succesfull

But still no connection is possible.

I also deinstalled the ETAS MDI driver and installed the correct driver from the MDI Manager folder.

I'm using my clone MDI with original GM software like tech2win and GDS. Before the VCM installation my MDI worked like a charm but now I messed up the managers.

Does anybody know what to do?

EDIT: It has to be a software/setting issue because i just installed the same MDI manager at a Windows 7 PC and my mdi is recognized and communication is possible. Pff thats a relief.

Now, can someone please help me with the correct settings so I can use my GM MDI on my own PC?

Is there a friendly person who can help me with removing EGR from the software and adding approximate 20-30 more horsepower.
The attached file has been readout with FG Tech Galletto 4-Master v54.

Hi all can someone help I have a Vw caravelle Tdi here year 1998 I would like to immo off this ecu ? I have opened the ecu and found some EPROMs which one contains the immo data? I think it should be 24c02 Can it be read in circuit or not?


I have tryed reading with Kess(unknown ecu) , mpps 13 (get I'd but won't read)and mpps 18 (get I'd but won't read) Also have tryed VVDI 2 and AVDI orig all no go!

HI,

I have a problem with a headunit CIC Professional from F10.
This headunit was installed from OEM, car build date is 2010.

All worked fine until the headunit has the actual problem, it starts every 2 / 3 minutes.

What I made:
on car, I saw, that navigation is working, I can see the right GPS position and the map, but on music menu, section own music, it isnt working and didnt show free size of this parition.

I installed another HDD from a working headunit, but problem is still the same, so I installed the HDD back.

Next step, I tried the rescue mode with tool32, this works, headunit stayed in this mode.

So I tried to flash the headunit on table to latest iStep, because the CIC has had btld and swfl files from 2010.

I was able to flash it without any problem.

But after flashing, the problem is the same, every two or three minutes, the headunit made a reboot.

Perhaps is somebody here with more skills to fix this headunit?
