Hi

I have a 2011 VW crafter van in for repair.
The customer originally had a fault of
38400 - n2\14 (Lowline/highline airbag control of unit)-internal fault.
The original airbag ecu has been tampered with by another garage and has now got multiple faults which won't clear.
I have got hold of a replacement ecu but when fitted it has one fault which is
37300 - CANbus signal key id from control of unit EZS is implausible.

Any help would be appreciated.

Retrofit 3AG & 688 on F036 problem

Hi. Hopefully this will be an easy fix.

I have retrofitted Logic 7(688) and reverse camera (3AG) to my F036 (iLevel 15-07-506).
I have used eSys to add the options to the FA and saved it to the car. Gone into expert -> coding and read the FA, activated it and then read SVT. Then coded HU, FEM & REM.
The 2 ECUs appear in eSys now and also ISTA-D control unit tree.

The Logic 7 works OK now but the TRSVC doesn't fully. Both appear in the list of ECUs but when I right click on them the options for CODE and Read coding data are both greyed out.

In ISTA-D I can see 3 errors. AMPT: Control unit is not encoded to vehicle. TRSVC: Control unit is not encoded to vehicle and no current coding data stored.

I am using eSys 3.27.1 and pszd V63 lite in TurboDriver's VM and an ICOM A2 clone.

Could the fact I can't code them be down to mismatched VINs and if so which prog do I need to use to correct this? Alternatively is it because the iLevels will be different and I need to get them to the same? Or is it something else?

Just looking for a pointer in the right direction.

Hello

Maybe someone faced with problem what I have
Ista + working very slow when icom connected
It’s very strange just enough to disconnect network cable everything
Back to normal
Check everything different laptop different icom
Short period is ok and after some time problem back
I don’t have clue what can cause this annoying issue

Hello

I Know im unknown to this site and have come for help, I can offer my services in this forum as had no idea there was another forum as active as this one for chiptuning

I have a reanult traffic reporting the cam sensors is malfunctioning , I have checked the timing and replaced the sensors but P0340 continues

can this be deleted to allow the van to start? it fires and stops because of the cam code

the timing chain and everything else is fine!

KL15, KL30 not showing in ISTA+ using K+DCAN / Programming and ICOM questions

Hey all,

I've been researching about all this software and various interfaces for weeks, so forgive me if I'm asking a question that has already been answered somewhere. I have searched but haven't found a direct answer to this one...

I have ISTA+ installed and I'm using it with a K+DCAN interface on a 2011 E70. Screenshots from elsewhere on the web show voltages in the upper right-hand corner for KL15 and KL30, but mine does not. All other software functions seem to work, however, as I can read vehicle data and clear ecu faults.

I suspect that it's the interface and that is normal for a K+DCAN connection, but I'm not sure. Can someone please confirm this for me?

Also, should I be using the software with ICOM? Will that help with the voltage displays? If so, what capabilities will I gain by using ICOM. I understand that there are ICOM emulators out there, which are software-based and simply run in a virtual machine. Would that be sufficient, or should I spend money on the actual hardware?

I do plan to get into some programming in the future to flash ecu's and I know ICOM is required for that on ISTA/P. But the same question applies: Is an emulator sufficient for that?

Also, will I need ICOM to program with WinKFP, or can that be done with only the K+DCAN interface?

Please feel free to correct me on anything if my assumptions are wrong here.
