Hi Guys,
we have got brought in a BMW 750d G11 where the Odo reading in dashboard was manipulated prior returning the car to the Lessor. Now the dealer asked us to rectify this problem and bring "up" the correct ODO reading, which is about 80000km more than displayed.
We thought that this shouldn`t be a big deal, just correcting the value in BDC and dash should take over automatically (VIN etc is matching).
We did a readout with Autohex and discovered, that the reading in BDC was correct (200700KM), EGS and Key is "0", no tamper dot is displayed but Kombi still holds the manipulated value.
We started searching for CAN Filters underneath dash but had no luck so far.
Is anybody here with good knowledge about the structure of this Network? Where can we look else?
We have already programmed the entire car to exclude the possibility of a software hack, same result......
We need urgent help
