BMW F20 DC/DC Converter location?

Hello friends.
Recently my car had a short circuit and looks like my DC/DC converter is dead. No more start-stop function, and some minor related symptoms. Does anyone know where this module is located on a BMW F20? I want to replace it. Thank you!

Audi MIB2 Serial Connection over Quadlock / Board

I have two MIB2 Units. One AU57x MIB2 on K3663 and one from Q7 with MIB2 AUG22.

There is something going around where you patch the MIBRoot Application, but if something goes wrong, serial access is needed (not telnet!)

On the AU57X MIB2 it already gone wrong and MIB2 booting only with Audi Logo and ethernet Adapter has lights, but telnet is closing the connection itself. For recovery a Serial Connection over USB UART/TTL Adapter to the J5 / RCC Area is needed. 

I found a Image of a VW Discover Pro MIB2/Porsche PCM an here it shows at B3 and B9 the Connection to J5. This is not working on the AUG22 Unit and on the AU57x not tested till now.

Today i removed the blue and green plugs from quadlock on AUG22 MIB2, and tested all pins which are not used to receive some output, but found nothing. (Only RX/GND on TTL Adapter used to find) 

Does somebody know, if there are pins on the quadlock for j5/rcc for one of this Units? And when which Pins are the right ones?

Also removed the board from the case of the AU57x Unit. There are also two PCI-Express like ports one with J5/V850 writing on it. Maybe someone knows here, which pins are the right ones to connect? GND is not the problem to find but rx,tx

Dear, I need some help with the PSA billing system:
I have a servicebox web account as a standalone autocenter, we are not an authorized dealership.
This way, our only way to make the diagnostic systems is through the "Diagnostic Data Sheet", which costs me EUR 35 + VAT 7 = EUR 42.
This value is for 01 single VIN for 7 days. My question is if paying this EUR 42, I will be able to do beyond the diagnosis of failures, the possibility of also making the downloads, key coding and other necessary adjustments.
Or, if EUR 42 is for 7-day diagnostics only, you need to pay for any other service within the online platform.

Error is *Reading addressing error.*

Anyone know why?

Change ZGW2 because retrofit 5AG now Issu INI

Hey there  hi,

hope can help me with my issu....   biggrin  Car is an F11 2015, i retrofit Lane warning (5AG), in this case i had to change the ZGW2 from 4SK to 8SK because need more Ports for the Flexray BUS.

So Change the Hardware (ZGW) make a Backup and Restore from Master in VCM, ESys. Restore Vin, Fa, FP.... everything O.K.

My problem is now when i do a Flexray initalisation (called in ISTA) or "Steuern_learn_flexray" (called in Tool32), [think this booth are the same!] all Felxray ports will be closed and i have no communikation.

This i can see it by doing "STATUS_FLEXRAY_PFAD" in Tool, all ports closed  angry

Try to open it manuly by "STEUERN_FLEXRAY_PFAD" e.g. 0x0;0x1 will not work, nothing changed.  puke

Only soulutinios what is working in the moment by tool32 ist "STEUERN_RESET_LEARN_FLEXRAY", so all ports will be open again. But then i got a Error code in the ZGW that the Initalisation is missing (Flexray Autolern nicht in Ordnung) Try to do it again will closed all ports and i´m starting from the beginng.


Hope Somebody can help me, and sorry for the bad english.


Other Problem is that the ECU from 5AG (SSW), was showing coding missing. Of course the message is right because of retrofit, so do the coding. Now the ECU show´s that the programming is wrong  puke ....
will try to do programm again (SWF + CAFD) wit esys.....
