hi all

have friend which corrupt rear steering axle on rocks, now have not working cruise control, stabilization, etc.

i try to remove 2VH from VO and recode DSC, ICM and remove ecu of rear axle. cruise control is now working, all errors from dash are gone, we think we are perfect now

but when you rotate steering wheel to much, maybe more than 4/5 of possilble rotation, than again error appear

4823E5 EPS control unit: difference rotor angle to pinion angle (ICM) outside tolerance


is there some method how to remove it, or have to buy new rear steering for 1/5 price of car which he bouth it.

Good Morning,

I'm with a Bmw X1 2011, in another workshop they changed the ECU DME, and after that the code of error 
does not go away but the car is working.

2FD9 - INTERFACE EWS IMMOBILIZER -DME

I did the synchronization between CAS and DME, updating online all to no avail.

If anyone could help me, I'm grateful.

Hope someone can help

My car is a E61 525d SE 2008 LCI. It originally can with full leather, half electric heated seats. I've recently aquired a pair of front M5 full electric sports seats circa 2005. These are again full leather but with memory, lumber moving side bolsters etc

I have fitted the seats and wired the power connection to the point where I can my both seats in INPA. I've a couple of outstanding issues though.

1. I'm not sure what to add to the VO for these seats, tried both $456 and $459?
2. Also getting restain errors which are possibly because the M5 seats do not have the active headrest and I've read that the two extra wires on the seat base run to pins 21 & 22 on the B pillar but as my car is an LCI these are no longer there so not sure where to the the cables to?
3. Lastly I've got power to the switches but since the seats are pre-lci and those seats used k-bus and not lin-bus do I need to replace the switches? If not where do I run the switch black cable to?

Hello

I have a friend that has rns810 part number 3D0035680B
HW-VERSION H60
SW VERSION 1224

He tried to do an firmware upgrade to v5238 and it didn't work so now he has the swl solution
I gave him the swl disc solution but it don't work..

getting

I've done a lot of research about EVO reverse engineering so far. And I made first attempt to create script which could be executed by EVO when usb flash is inserted.
I prepared srm.cfg and compiled simple qnx shared lib with plugin_cb_main() in it.
Then I put them both on fat32 usb flash card and inserted into EVO. As a result – no signs of execution.
Then I tried with UPDXXXXX.bin tar file, which holds cfg and lib files. - No luck either!

I’d like to get access to EVO’s internal logs to see what’s wrong with my attempts. Unfortunately, I’m currently unaware about how to dump logs from HU.

Could smb. give me a hint?

Maybe tool32 – nbtevo.prg – diagnose_mode could be the right way to dig into?
DIAGNOSE_MODE
  comment : SG in bestimmten Diagnosemode bringen
            UDS  : $10 StartDiagnosticSession
            Modus: einstellbar mit diesem Job
