Hi members,

Although I have some limited experience writing to various ECUs, such as a Mercedes ME 2.7.2 and other Bosch units found in Mercedes using boot-mode and OBD2, I haven't had any experience with OBD2 American automobiles - particularly back to 1996.  I will have to gather more information on exactly the specifics of the ECU used (I know it is an EEC V) does anyone know of what software could be used to read and write to this ECU, if it can be done over OBD2, what interface is needed?  I figure we have enough experts on here to do an EGR delete on the read dump if it can be retrieved?

Hello everyone and good holiday of the end of the year, I have a problem with EWA server, on device (network card / Microsoft ISATAP card), if I uninstall this card the server Ewa works, but every time I restart my computer, it reinstalls itself and ewa no longer works, is there a solution to problem, thank you
I found a discussion on the forum about it, I do not know how,

BMW NBT EVO Retrofit FSC lost

I retrofitted G11 NBT EVO to my BMW F31 vehicle.

Everything went well but when I VO code the NBT EVO navigation stop working.
It show me information Please use the usb with correct navigation code.

I use the emulator and I didn´t change the VIN
Before VO code I read the FSC status and it shown like below

AppID 288(0x120)
UpgradeIndex 35(0x23)
SWTType SWTclassic light
FSCStatus accepted
FSCCertStatus not available

After VO code when I read the FSC status it show like this

AppID 241(0xF1)
UpgradeIndex 35(0x23)
SWTType SWTclassic light
FSCStatus not available
FSCCertStatus not available

There is no AppID 288 anymore.

But when I changed the HMI_ID_VERSION id4_plus_plus to id5_plus_plus, FSC AppID 288 appeared again but it show FSCStatus not available.

Why the FSC code lost after the VO code?
How I can get it back?

Flashing indicators when locking

Hi.

Ive got a F30 that i want indicators to flash when locking and unlocking.
Problem is, its working fine when unlocking but not when locking. That being said, it once worked but stopped working suddenly out of the blue.

Visual confirmation is ticked in iDrive.

E61 CCC Rolls royce iDrive

Hi. 
Ive got call from a friend who has got a E61 with CCC. It has been at a dealer that thought he was able to flash his CCC, and out of a sudden it now has got Rolls Royce iDrive with a menu with possibility to open up the little figure in the front of the hood, even though it still is sitting in the E61..
Shouldnt it be possible to just flash it over using ISTA/P to the regular software or is WinKFP needed? He has got no idea how it happened, and the dealer does not know either.
