Xentry Adaptor
Hi all managed to get Xentry installed finally after trying for a while,
Brand new to all this merc stuff.
How coming from the BMW world I am a little stuck on what Adaptor i should be getting,
I have a 2006 Merc c220 and need to do some diagnostics on it, I don't need coding or programming etc I just need to do some fault reading,
I can't work out what device I need for my car to do this, I guess I download the Xentry Pass Thru from dummies thread,
So what I am asking is what is the best adaptor to buy for the car sorry I don't know what modle it is like a w204 etc not quite sure on that,
Just need something that's going to work for diagnostics on the car,
Been looking at the VAS 5054A but not sure if this workings with the software and car
can someone please either link an eBay link or something that i need

no rpm C63 cluster into W204/S204
An used cluster from a C63 which has been made virgin has been installed into a W204/S204 diesel. Everything works but the rpm gauge doesn't work.
Is this a coding issue?
I do got Das in develop mode and Xentry openshell.

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A 1998 MECR CLK 230 KOMPRESSOR
AT FIRST I THOUGHT JUST KEY PROBLEM AS KEY FAULTY IN EVERY DEPARTMENT WHEN GIVEN TO ME
I REPAIRED KEY BACK TO WORKING STATE AS WAS QUICKEST OPTION AS NOT BY THE CAR
I THEN GOT TO SEE CAR TO TEST KEY /CAR BATTERY VERY LOW JUST ABOUT LIT UP CABIN
I PUT BRAND NEW BATTERY ON CAR TESTED CL AND GOT NOTHING PUT KEY IN EIS NOTHING NON TURN

2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0L EDC16CP31 P0101 DTC Delete
Hello, I am a newbie to the whole ECU moding scene, I am trying my best to learn this exciting world.
I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0L (Turbo Diesel OM642 engine) with EDC16CP31 Bosch ecu that is throwing me a code P0101
I have fully checked the MAF and all wiring. All the tests were within spec.
Is is possible to delete this DTC?
I am including the file. I would also appreciate any info as to what I should be reading, and what tools I should be using as in the future I realize I will have DPF issues etc.

Retrofit ZBE4 without TBX ECU
Hi everybody
I have F10 LCI 2016 (I-Step 15-11-503) and ZBE3 factory. I equipped ZBE4 EVO (without ECU TBX) replacing ZBE3
Only plus and play. It works all the same as ZBE3
When I connect E-sys Edit FDL function I read STV sees ZBE4 but CAF_FFFFFFFF_255_255_255. E-sys can not read coding
I've been detected for SWE with my FA factory and FA NBTevo retroft (B209, HW 3.1, date 03/17)
PSDZdata I use Full 4.13.11 and both Lite 4.14.34 both get (detected for SWE) CAD red but in the attached image.
Should I execute the code command?

Bricked BENZIN ME7.1.1
Hello, just found this crowd and you seem to be the right people.
I was searching for immo info on an Audi ECU that I have been into.
In the past I would lift eeproms, program immo off and reinstalled chip.
Well, this unit either bricked or the mapping is looking for immo or it is stuck in program??
I may have found my first unit that should have been done on a keyboard without removing the chip.
I have one engine, an Audi A8 V8 4.2L that I use in a Porshe Boxster track car.
I have several ECU's for it all prior to 2003, but this is a 2004 BOSCH 4EO 907 560 ME7.1.1 3rd gen immo.
I have two questions,
1) Is chip lifting becoming old school now?
2) Any thoughts on this ECU's expected condition?
