I'm trying to flash an e65 6777883 module to make it work in my E92.
So far, winkfp expert and nfs emergency flash all have the same result. Signature check fails. There's a tool32 job that you can run with arguments: "Programm;35" so you can see it fail.
Right now, my module is stuck with flash code 5 (abort). It still flashes but signature check always fails. Even if trying to flash 6777883 (from e60 datens).
I think this may be an issue with DCAN. I read on a few threads that typical dcan ftdi cables fail to handle long checksums. I bought a bimmergeeks cable and I'm going to try that. If that doesn't work, the only thing we can do is try ICOM. If even that doesn't work then it's just impossible without some hardware hacking like changing the EEPROM.
If the module is somehow checking its flash against a key stored in its eeprom then I'm simply screwed. Removing the sensor housing would most likely destroy it.
