Hi. I have a 2017 G30 that from the factory has HU-H (Head Unit - High) (aka NTB EVO I think) with iDrive 6. The unit has a TV function and looks like this: ![[Image: mqdefault.jpg]]()
The car had no navigation from factory whatsoever.
My question is:
Given that I can connect a GPS antenna to a head unit (either directly or via a com box emulator), and have an FSC code to "allow" NAV to be used, do I have a sufficient "rest of the hardware" to be able to enable the nav? I can do VO/FDL coding myself. I don't know if my unit, for instance, has an HDD to store the map data, etc.
