I have been trying to find the information, but nobody seems to be addressing the particular combination of things I am dealing with.
I have ISTA + 4.09 installed, and an ENET cable I made myself.
I can successfully see the ENET interface and even connect to my F30 and read diagnostic codes and vehicle information.
The problem is ISTA + does not show battery voltage on KL15 or KL30, it's just a "-" dash.
Also ISTA P detects the vehicle but it does not let me do anything since the battery voltage is below 13v. Of course this is with a 25A battery charger connected and most of the loads off. ISTA P also does not show the voltages.
Why can't I do any write functions to the car ? Is the ENET cable not good enough to program with and you need ICOM head? Is it my specific configuration not working?
I could not successfully get the Voltage Control tool v3 to work with ISTA +, but even if I did, I don't understand how that would also fix my undervoltage issue in ISTA P.
Thank you for your help.
Main thing I am trying to do immediatly is reset my rear brake pads, which is not possible via cluster currently(sensor has worn through).
