A3 8L key learn on bench

Hi mates,

Does anybody know or can tell me if and how its possible to learn keys on bench for VDO oder Jaeger clusters like Audi A3 8L?

I have FVDI and Carprog.

Or can i just swap full eeprom data from old to new?
