Greetings
The car:
BMW E65 745D V8 Diesel 2 x edc16cp35 master/slave ecu-s
0281012479
DDE 7 801 218
Soo... long story short:
A car came to me with "dpf problems". I read the first ecu with ktag. Both ecu have been already opened and customer said dpf and egr has been removed previously. After that things started going bad. During the read process of the second (slave) ecu, bdm pads are damaged, i could not even read it. There was a battery fault also, and somehow both ecu-s got bricked. (No response from diag, neither with ktag).
Ive ordered a set of ecu-s with the exact same numbers. I've got the eeprom from the old ecus.
I copied the content of eeproms to the new ecu-s, and made a cas-dde sync.
I have tried the new ecu original flash, mpc with old ecu eeproms, but car is in limp mode (Sounds like a half of the V8 works), diag shows ecu software fault related to master/slave connection.
Also tried the original-modifyed dump from old master ecu on new master and slave, keeping the protected area untoutched in winols, same.
Now i think the problem is the eeprom is in "sync" with the flash (maybe thats why there are some byte differences between around 0x7000 and 0x9000)
BTW: on a test drive the hood did not locked itself when i closed it, the telescopes were also bad, and the hood rolled over and broke the windshield too. (
![tears tears]()
)
So please help me get this madness out of my garage.
I think if i transfer not the whole eeprom, just the ISN and injector codes, this problem could be solved.
I can read the cas2 from internal canbus with smok if its not possible with the 2-2 eeprom dumps.
Also take a look at the previously tuned file, i dont have a damos, but i think not just dpf and egr are modded (maybe swirl/tva, becouse those faults appeared also when i scanned the car with original flash)
I bought a BDM frame also, would be better if i have it before...
